Description

It could be usefull to disable the backup when a file is updated.

Hey, sorry I didn't look longer at your pull request. I just took another look.
I see from your pull request that you're proposing adding a 'backup_disabled' option. Template is a subclass of the File resource. It should inherit the 'backup' attribute which controls how many backups are kept. You should be able to set this to 0 to disable backups.

  source "test.erb"
  backup 0
end
