Description
When knife-linode provisions a new machine, I see that new Linodes are given a private IP address automatically, but I couldn't find a way to get to the private IP address from within the new Linode's initial chef-client run, in order to set up /etc/network/interface.
There's other info available at provisioning time that'd be useful to pass through to the new machine, like the datacenter in which the machine is being provisioned, etc. Here's a pull request for my fix - if you can suggest a better way, let me know and I'll rework it ![]()

Thanks.
I'm resolving this ticket as fixed because it contains a patch. In the future, please remember to resolve tickets as fixed when you provide a solution. This way we can find tickets with resolutions and add them to the project.
