Environment:
FreeBSD 0.8, Chef from Git @ f3287fcafe4b3a65d140c91fb9c8442c086261d9
Description
chef-server/lib/tasks/install.rake and chef-server/lib/tasks/uninstall.rake uses sudo to install/uninstall gem, but sudo is not available is an optional package in FreeBSD, thus the rakefile fails.
I think a rake task should not use sudo, and should warn the user to run the rake task as root if he wants to.
