It should be possible to customize the local.ini file in couchdb cookbook

I'd like to suggest an approach similar to the postgresql configuration in COOK-1871.

Create a config attribute, node['couch_db']['config']. Each section would have a separate subkey, with its settings under that. For example, to render the configuration like this:

[couchdb]
database_dir = /var/lib/couchdb/1.0.1
view_index_dir = /var/lib/couchdb/1.0.1
util_driver_dir = /usr/lib/couchdb/erlang/lib/couch-1.0.1/priv/lib
max_document_size = 4294967296

[httpd]
port = 5984
bind_address = 127.0.0.1
max_connections = 2048

[log]
level = info
file = /var/log/couchdb/couch.log

We'd have attributes like this:

default['couch_db']['config']['couchdb']['database_dir'] = '/var/lib/couchdb/1.0.1'
default['couch_db']['config']['couchdb']['max_document_size'] = 4294967296
default['couch_db']['config']['httpd']['port'] = 5984
default['couch_db']['config']['httpd']['bind_address'] = 127.0.0.1
default['couch_db']['config']['httpd']['max_connections'] = 2048
default['couch_db']['config']['log']['level'] = 'info'
default['couch_db']['config']['log']['file'] = '/var/log/couchdb/couch.log'

I started to implement this feature using a 'config' attribute. But I didn't think about extending it to the point of being that generic. I must say that it's a great idea. I will implement it this way.

But, I have two questions:

1- Should we provide default values for all config parameters and not just for common ones like 'bind_address'?

2- At the moment, the cookbook is written in a way that default value for 'bind_address' is nil. If the value is set, then in the template, the 'bind_address' is overridden. Should we use nil as the default value (default['couch_db']['bind_address'] = nil) or set explicitly the default value that couchdb would use (default['couch_db']['bind_address'] = "127.0.0.1")?

Ok, finished the PR.

Here what I have done. Configuration default values are provided for some parameters that are clearly platform-independent like the port and bind address. All parameters that require a path as the value are not specified at all.

Used the idea you gave about configuration section and keys. Updated the README to reflect this change.
